Medicaid Waiver Clinics & Resource Navigation
Through our Resource Navigation Program, we offer Medicaid Waiver Clinics designed to support parents, caregivers, and individuals seeking long-term services and supports. These clinics provide a clear, practical overview of Medicaid waivers, including how to prepare and submit waiver and Long-Term Care (LTC) applications, what the eligibility determination process involves, and what to expect during enrollment.
Because Medicaid waiver processes vary by county, our clinics can be tailored to a specific audience. When appropriate, we focus exclusively on county-specific procedures to help participants better understand local requirements, timelines, and common challenges. We recognize that the waiver system can be overwhelming, and our goal is to simplify complex information in a way that is accessible and actionable.
Each clinic also includes dedicated time for individualized questions and guidance. Participants attend these sessions at many different stages of their journey, and we value the opportunity to provide personalized direction based on unique circumstances. Attendees are also invited to continue working with us through our Resource Navigation Program, which offers ongoing, individualized support at no cost to families until waiver enrollment is complete or they feel confident in the path they have chosen.
Clinics are typically two hours in length and may be offered in person or virtually. To support the sustainability of this work, we request a suggested donation from host agencies when scheduling a clinic. These contributions allow our nonprofit to continue offering free, ongoing resource navigation services to individuals and families across our community while expanding access to accurate, timely information.
