Kari Chapman started her career assisting individuals with disabilities with employment services at Goodwill Industries in Iowa, where she grew up. She moved to Colorado to attend UNC to get her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She worked for the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for 18 years, prim

Kari Chapman started her career assisting individuals with disabilities with employment services at Goodwill Industries in Iowa, where she grew up. She moved to Colorado to attend UNC to get her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She worked for the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for 18 years, primarily working with individuals receiving services from the CCB in preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining employment in their chosen field. She is currently assisting veterans with training and employment services.

Jenn Hight, MA, LPC is a clinical mental health therapist with extensive experience working in the nonprofit sector and alongside vulnerable and historically marginalized populations. Her clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed care, relational healing, and a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and access to high-quality mental health support.

Jenn has spent much of her career supporting individuals and communities navigating systemic barriers, and she brings a strong DEI lens to both her clinical practice and community involvement. She is passionate about advocacy, capacity-building, and creating spaces where people of all abilities feel seen, valued, and empowered.

Jenn is honored and enthusiastic to join the Board of Directors at Elevated Communities and looks forward to supporting its mission of uplifting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and community-centered impact.

Jessica Olson brings a strong background in public service, leadership, and operations management to her role as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Elevated Communities.

Jessica began her career in Child Support Services, where she gained extensive experience working at both the County and State levels. Starting as a caseworker, she developed a deep understanding of family support programs and community needs. Her dedication and skill led her to advance through multiple roles, ultimately serving as a Manager within the Systems Operations team at the State Office. In this capacity, she oversaw complex processes and contributed to initiatives that improved efficiency and service delivery across the program.

In February 2025, Jessica transitioned into the nonprofit sector, joining Elevated Communities Cat Café as Director of Operations. In this role, she combines her administrative expertise and passion for community engagement to help create meaningful connections between people and rescue animals.

Jessica is deeply committed to making a positive impact—both in people’s lives and in the lives of the cats she helps support. She looks forward to continuing her journey in nonprofit leadership, fostering growth, collaboration, and compassion within Elevated Communities.

Marcy Campbell began her career by providing support to youth and young adults in Boulder County, including youth with disabilities, to access local services and achieve their work, educational, and life skill goals. She currently serves as the Belonging Colorado Project Manager at the Greater Good Science Center, leading implementation of this groundbreaking, new initiative to bridge divides and foster belonging across the state of Colorado. Marcy has a robust background in leading community change initiatives, focusing on wellness, social connection, and fostering thriving communities through intentional, inclusive approaches. Her work centers on bringing together diverse stakeholders, using compassionate facilitation to create spaces where people can listen to, value, and understand each other, building common goals for collective progress and fostering authentic relationships. She combines her leadership in complex systems and policy work with direct service experience in local Boulder County government, which has deepened her understanding of the effects of othering and systemic barriers. Additionally, Marcy has expertise leading organizational culture initiatives such as change management and staff retention, improving staff mental health and psychological safety in the workplace, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts. Marcy is a lifelong Colorado resident.
